A Victoria Hospital Patient whose wallet was stolen while she slept has recovered the item but without the 600 dollars it contained. Stella Joseph is happy that all her travel documents are in-tact but she is calling for tighter security at the facility especially on the Wards.
Stella Joseph who is a patient at the Victoria Hospital says her wallet was stolen from her bag on Wednesday around 4:15 PM while she was asleep. It contained 600 dollars, bank cards, her Farmers Cooperative pass book and Bahamian and St. Lucian drivers licenses. On Friday morning the wallet was returned to the owner by a security guard and a nurse after Joseph was able to verify its contents. However the cash was gone
While happy to get the documents back Joseph is calling for tighter security especially on the wards
Hospital authorities who promised to investigate the incident were unavailable for an update
