Recently, Sandals Resorts agreed on a long-term contract to become the new principal Partner and Team sponsor of the WEST WINDIES CRICKET TEAM.  This week,  England and West Indies will be facing each other in a match which many are optimistic will turn out to be a Whitewash with the series now at two wins to nil in favor of the Windies.  Sandals Resorts held a Press conference, throwing their full support for the West Indies and encouraged the public to do the same.

According to Winston Anderson, General Manager of the Sandals Grande St. Lucia, Last year, when this partnership between Sandals and the West Indies Cricket Team came to fruition, the Company had been excited and optimistic about the future of West Indies Cricket noting that the hard work done on and off the field had already started to reap dividends.

Longtime CWI fan and Traveler Peter Mathews says, the influx of west indies and Mostly English Cricket supporters means a lot to the local economy.

Despite the Windies success, Winston Anderson says the Journey has only just started.

West Indies Captain, Jason Holder, will not be playing in this final match, nonetheless, Anderson says, that will not detour the Windies from delivering a Whitewash to the Visiting English Team.
