STUDENTS WORRIED ABOUT JOB PROSPECTS ON GRADUATING

Form Four Students of the Ciceron Secondary School took to the streets on Wednesday in an effort to draw the Government’s attention to the need to increase youth employment opportunities. The Students also engaged MP for the area Dr. Ernest Hilaire in discussions on the subject.

With one more year to go before they write their CXC examinations they are understandably concerned about their future in terms of employment. The students persuaded  their teachers to organize a meeting with District Representative for Castries South Dr. Ernest Hilaire

The students put a series of questions to Castries South MP Dr. Ernest Hilaire. In answering their questions Dr. Hilaire who said his Office was inundated with requests for employment from young persons within the community,  provided some tips on how to succeed in the world of work

For some of the students Wednesday’s meeting was an eye opener in terms of providing ideas as to how they can obtain employment upon  graduating
