AMBER GUYGER TRIAL DELAYED BUT LAWYERS NOT CONCERNED

The trial of Amber Guyger for her role in the death of Botham Jean has been delayed an additional six weeks and is now scheduled to begin on September 23rd. Despite the delay, attorneys for the Jean family say they are not concerned. The passing of Clement Springer, former musician with the local group “ The Tru Tones” and member of the Royal St. Lucia Police Band has hit the Local music fraternity hard. WORLD ARC PARTICIPANTS BACK IN SAINT LUCIA

Seventeen of the yachts which started the world ARC in Rodney Bay 15 months ago, are back here after traveling 26,000 nautical miles.  Following the classic tradewinds route, the rally avoids regions of political instability, piracy and the storm seasons in both hemispheres. Although World ARC is a rally not a race, there is some friendly competition among participants.
