POLICE HAVE A PLAN TO TACKLE GUN PLAY IN MARCHAND

A recent spike in gun and gang violence within the Marchland community has law enforcement concerned.  Law men say measures have been put in place to address the situation.

Recent gun violence in the area has left one man dead and at least three others nursing gunshot injuries. Area businesses have also expressed concern for their safety and that of their customers.

The Royal St. Lucia Police Force has devised a strategic plan to combat the recent spike in gun crimes especially in the community of Marchand. Recent shootings have claimed one life and left several others injured.

The law men admit that the recent gun violence is cause for concern.

Recently, a number of business owners and residents expressed anxiety over the impact of the gun violence on them.

According to A.C.P Milton Desir, the RSLPF will be doing all it can to ensure the safety of citizens.

St. Lucia has recorded 12 homicides so far for 2019, the majority of which are gun related.
