The wife of 51 year old Cedars resident and businessman, Stan Pistol says she is saddened that day’s away from the celebration of Mother’s Day, a mother will have to spend the day knowing her sons are behind bars facing murder charges.
Reuben and Donovan Ismael, both of George Charles Boulevard, Castries were arrested and charged for the April 15th fatal shooting of Stan Pistol at his Cedars Road business.
The two men have been remanded to the Bordalais Correctional Facility.
Stan Pistol was killed at the Kross-Roads Minimart during a suspected robbery.
His wife, Mrs. Grandalene Pistol, was in the process of parking her vehicle to join her husband at the mini mart when she heard the sound of gunshots.
Seconds later, she discovered her husband’s bullet riddled body in a pool of his own blood.
The widow says while two men are in custody for her husband’s death, there is nothing to celebrate.
The couple was married for 22 years and had been operating the Cross Roads Mini Mart for nearly a decade. They were the victims of numerous robberies.
Pistol left behind a 16 year old daughter and a thirteen year old son.
According to Mrs Pistol, the business and the family have been negatively impacted by the death.
Stan Pistol was described as a kind and hardworking individual who lived for his family.
