A L’Anse Road resident reportedly with a history of mental illness was shot by police Monday morning. The shooting victim has been identified as Mervin Beharry better known as “LOUAH”. The St. Lucia Red Cross Society is lost as to why law enforcers on the scene of Monday’s shooting incident at the Blue Coral Mall did not perform first aid on the shooting victim. Police are investigating a shooting incident which occurred in the wee hours of Monday 29th Oct about 12:30 a.m.  at Bagatelle. According to reports, two male individuals were in a parked vehicle when they came under fire by unknown assailants in another vehicle.
