A L’Anse Road resident reportedly with a history of mental illness was shot by police Monday morning. The shooting victim has been identified as Mervin Beharry better known as “LOUAH”. According to reports, police responded to a call from a preschool in the area claiming that Beharry was brandishing what appeared to be a firearm. Police are investigating a shooting incident which occurred in the wee hours of Monday 29th Oct about 12:30 a.m.  at Bagatelle. According to reports, two male individuals were in a parked vehicle when they came under fire by unknown assailants in another vehicle. The Criminal Investigations Department responded to a shooting incident at Chef Harry Drive Morne Fortune around 10:30 pm Monday. Police are investigating a shooting incident at the morne du don carellie bypass road. The incident has left two male individuals dead and three others in critical condition at the Victoria Hospital.
