RED CROSS JOINS FIGHT TO REDUCE MOSQUITO BREEDING SITES

The St. Lucia red Cross Society in conjunction with the United States Agency for International development (USAID) is intensifying efforts to clamp down  on mosquito borne diseases. On Saturday the two organizations joined forces in a  Vigie beach clean up exercise as part of an overall effort to eradicate all mosquito breeding sites. The Meteorological  Service is warning the public not to be complacent even though there is a below average prediction for this year’s Atlantic Hurricane season.
