A celebration of knowledge, heritage, and excellence took center stage at the UWI Global Campus recently, as students from three secondary schools participated in the What Every Black Child Should Know Quiz. The competition, which aimed to highlight the achievements of Black historical figures, brought together bright young minds eager to showcase their knowledge.

The Iyanola Council for the Advancement of Rastafari continues its mission to raise awareness and elevate Black consciousness through an Exhibition and Lecture at the Castries City Hall on Thursday. The event focused on the lasting effects of colonial rule. ICAR seeks to address these issues, aiming to help individuals reconnect with their true purpose—ultimately impacting crime and violence in the community.

Joshua Harrow, a youth advocate and member of the United Workers Party, has been sworn in as one of Saint Lucia’s youngest senators. Harrow views his inclusion in the parliamentary process as a significant step forward for the island’s youth.
