Ti Pawol Kweyol Celebrates Creole Poetry At Nobel Laureate Festival
Kaye Kwéyòl will host a poetry and spoken word event, Ti Pawol Kwéyòl, as part of this year’s Nobel Laureate Festival. Held annually for the past four years, this event celebrates local talent using the rich wordplay of the Creole language, much like the renowned works of Sir Derek Walcott. The organization believes it is vital for Saint Lucian writers and poets to infuse their work with cultural elements, emphasizing the significance of Creole in their artistic expressions.
