Concerns are mounting over the recently introduced Caribbean Primary Exit Assessment (CPEA), which has replaced the long-standing Common Entrance Examination for Grade 6 students in Saint Lucia. The president of the National Principals Association, Neal Fontenelle, says while the CPEA has some student-friendly components, it may not adequately prepare pupils for the demands of secondary school.
