No Plans For Demolition Of Unsound CDC Buildings
Uncertainty looms over the future of five structurally unsound CDC buildings in Castries as Housing Minister Richard Frederick confirms that there are no immediate plans for their demolition. The minister’s comments come after safety concerns prompted the demolition of CDC Block X in 2023. Residents of the remaining buildings, identified as structurally compromised, continue to await a definitive course of action from the National Housing Corporation.
