ECCB GOVERNOR ADDRESSES ECONOMIC PRESSURES

At the ECCB’s 9th Growth and Resilience Dialogue, Governor Timothy Antoine stressed the urgent need to tackle food security and the impact of U.S. tariffs on the region’s economy. While inflation and a slowing global economy are pressing concerns, Antoine reassured that the Eastern Caribbean dollar remains stable. He called for more investment in local food production to reduce reliance on imports and address the region’s high food import bill.

STUDENTS RECORD CLIMATE-THEMED CALYPSO JINGLE

Students from the Sir Ira Simmons Secondary School recently had the opportunity to step into the world of music production, thanks to the Ministry of Sustainable Development’s NAP-GCF Readiness project.
