CALL TO HONOUR MOTHERS AMID CONCERNS OF NEGLECT

A former President of the St. Lucia National Council of and for Older Persons is voicing concern over the abandonment of some of the nation’s mothers. She urges the public to protect and value mothers for their vital role in society, as St. Lucia joins the global community in observing Mother’s Day on Sunday.
