‘FATHERS SAVE LIVES’ SEMINAR HIGHLIGHTS CRITICAL ROLE OF MEN IN FIGHTING SOCIAL DECLINE

With rising youth violence, growing gang activity, and an increase in single-parent households, local advocates say the role of men—particularly fathers—is more critical than ever. On Sunday, a seminar titled “Fathers Save Lives” brought together community leaders, mental health advocates, and religious figures to address the crisis facing men in Saint Lucia and the impact of absent father figures on society. Speakers called for stronger male mentorship, greater mental health support for men, and a return to stable, values-based family leadership.
