The Bankers Association of Saint Lucia is sounding the alarm over a surge in fraudulent text messages, WhatsApp communications, and overseas calls targeting local bank customers. The warning comes amid a growing number of reports from financial institutions across the island, many of which say their clients are being tricked into sharing personal banking details through phishing scams.
