The Eastern Caribbean Central Bank is breaking down long-standing barriers to banking across the region with the launch of its ECCU First Step Savings Account. Unveiled at a Town Hall meeting in St. Kitts and Nevis, the initiative is designed to bring affordable, no-fuss financial access to thousands of unbanked and underserved residents in the Eastern Caribbean, offering a free, low-requirement entry point into the formal banking system.
