STUDENTS USE MUSIC TO PROMOTE CLIMATE ACTION

The Government of Saint Lucia has been awarded a Green Climate Fund Readiness and Preparatory Support Programme grant (NAP GCF Readiness Programme) to assist in advancing the country’s National Adaptation Planning (NAP).
The project, managed by the Department of Sustainable Development, partnered with the Sir Ira Simmons Secondary School band and choir to create a calypso jingle titled “Adapt”, which premiered as a music video on July 15th. Known for their many accolades, the school’s musical talents are once again being used—this time to promote Saint Lucia’s commitment to sustainable development.
