The town of Gros Islet has gained a new amenity set to benefit both residents and visitors. On Friday, an official opening ceremony was held for the Gros Islet Recreational Beach Park on Jerome Montoute Drive. Minister for Tourism and Investment, Dr. Ernest Hilaire, described the facility as timely and complementary to other ongoing projects in the area, including the Rodney Bay Beach Park and the A’ila Resort, now under construction. The initiative was the brainchild of a local resident passionate about serving families and investing in communities islandwide.
