Drawing on his 2023 study of 268 secondary school students, Dr. Felix presented compelling evidence that peer influence, family bonds, and school attachment are key predictors of juvenile delinquency. His findings make a strong case for preventative interventions—mentorship, community programmes, and stronger family support—to steer young people away from crime and violence. The lecture marks an important step in bringing locally generated research into the national conversation on crime prevention.
