In a bold move to confront the climate crisis, the Caribbean Youth Environment Network (CYEN) has joined nine other nations in Hawaii for a high-level renewable energy summit — the Blue Planet Alliance Fellowship Program. The week-long initiative, held in May 2025, brought island leaders and changemakers together to draft national roadmaps toward 100% renewable energy, reinforcing the Caribbean’s growing voice in the global sustainability movement.
