Churches Resume In-Person Worship Services
Physical worship services resumed over the weekend as religious organizations were permitted to hold in person services on Sunday during the 24 hour confinement. However restrictions on public transportation prevented many from actually attending church. The Seventh Day Adventist Church meanwhile also resumed Sabbath services after voluntarily shutting its doors over the past few weeks.

Media Colleagues Remember Alex Bousquet
The local media fraternity continue to express deep shock and sorrow over the untimely death of one of its young members, DBS’ Alex Bousquet, just days shy of his fifty seventh birthday. He passed away at the Respiratory Hospital on Sunday while undergoing treatment for pneumonia.
Street Named after Botham Jean
A portion of a street in Dallas, Texas has officially been dedicated as Botham Jean Boulevard named in honor of the Saint Lucian who was shot and killed inside his apartment by Dallas police officer Amber Guyger. Guyger was convicted of murder and sentenced to 10 years in prison. The Jean family was in Dallas this weekend for the renaming ceremony.
