The St. Lucia Cycling Association is gearing up to host its Independence Cycling Event, the Criterium Championships, on February 23rd. This fun-filled event aligns with the theme “Health and Well-Being for a Prosperous Nation,” emphasizing the health benefits of cycling, particularly for citizens dealing with non-communicable diseases (NCDs). The last major cycling event was held in 2012, and the Association is hopeful that it can be an annual occurrence moving forward.
