“They have to step up!” These were the words of Deputy Prime Minister Dr. Ernest Hilaire, referring to NAMALCO, the contractor for the West Coast Road Rehabilitation Project. The National Council on Public Transportation (NCOPT) has warned of drastic action if road conditions on the West Coast Road are not improved. In response, NAMALCO has committed to bettering the road conditions in time for the Christmas season.
