GOVERNMENT TAKES ACTION TO RELIEVE RISING COST OF LIVING

The Government says it is working aggressively to ease the burden of the rising cost of living on Saint Lucian households. Commerce Minister Emma Hippolyte told Parliament Monday that subsidies, tax breaks and tighter monitoring are already making a difference at the checkout counter.
