The Halls of Justice project, initially planned for the former courthouse and Ministry of Education building, has been altered due to concerns raised by the Roman Catholic Church regarding the structural integrity of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. Despite discussions with various stakeholders to find an amicable resolution, the project has been paused for now. Work will proceed at the newly acquired Adjodha property, alongside the former Ministry of Education lot. There are concerns about potential delays in the completion of the project, as well as the possibility of additional costs.
