The Health Ministry has launched Snakebite Management as part of the Universal Health Coverage initiative. A training session was held for farmers to improve awareness and knowledge on managing snakebites. Dr. Alisha Eugene-Ford, UHC Director, says the program will provide full treatment services at St. Jude and Owen King hospitals. Public education efforts will continue, focusing on communities affected by the Fer-de-Lance snake.
