Veteran Journalist, Earl Bousquet has downplayed suggestions that China has ulterior motives for its recent proposal to assist in alleviating the escalating crime situation in Haiti. Bousquet opines that even with China’s growing influence in the region its humanitarian efforts are just that, and not a another push to influence a nation to ditch Taiwan, which it considers a renegade province.
