A resident of New Village, Micoud, has filed multiple applications to have a street lamp replaced in his community but has been met with repeated delays. He is concerned for his safety, as well as that of his neighbors—particularly given the recent rise in crime and violence. Residents are questioning the efficiency of the relevant department within the Ministry of Infrastructure, as the area remains in complete darkness at night. The resident hopes the matter can be expedited so the community can feel safe once again.
