A moment of silence was held today at a national event in memory of the island`s latest murder victim who leaves to mourn three young children.
Messages of hope, prosperity and togetherness were relayed as leaders of government dignitaries and students from schools in the south of the island gathered at the Our Lady of Assumption Parish in Vieux-Fort for the National Ecumenical Service.
The event forms part of activities to observe St Lucia`s 46th independence anniversary.
