TOURISM ENHANCEMENT FUND BUILDS SIX NEW SHOWERS AT VIEUX FORT COMPREHENSIVE SCHOOL
For years, campers at the Vieux Fort Comprehensive Secondary School had to make do with makeshift bamboo showers—temporary structures that offered little privacy or dignity. But that chapter has just been rewritten. The Tourism Enhancement Fund has stepped in, financing six brand-new shower units and two water tanks at the school. On Tuesday, officials formally handed over the upgraded facilities, and the reviews are already in. Girl Guides who tested them say the clean, spacious showers were the highlight of their entire camp experience.
