US$20 MILLION LOAN TO BOOST AFFORDABLE HOUSING IN SAINT LUCIA
A new chapter in affordable housing is about to unfold in Saint Lucia. Prime Minister Philip J. Pierre has announced the completion of a US$20 million loan agreement with Taiwan — unlocking major funding that will help hundreds of Saint Lucians realize their dream of home ownership. The initiative, managed by the Saint Lucia Development Bank, not only delivers on a key Budget promise but also gives new homeowners a welcome boost with an additional $1,000 grant to cover legal fees.
