A powerful wave of creativity swept through the Gros Islet Human Resource Development Centre this week, as participants turned the stage into a battleground against gender-based violence. Through interactive forum theatre, attendees moved beyond passive discussion, actively performing and solving real-life scenarios to collectively explore paths toward prevention, empathy, and change.

The Saint Lucia National Day Committee is preparing to host its 2nd Annual Independence Walk in New York in celebration of Saint Lucia’s 47th Anniversary of Independence. The event, under the patronage of the Consulate General of Saint Lucia in New York, is scheduled for Saturday, February 21, 2026, beginning at 9:00 a.m. Participants will assemble at Prospect Park, with the official meeting point at the intersection of Ocean Avenue and Parkside Avenue, before concluding at Saint Lucia House.
