WORKERS’ CREDIT UNION AWARDS $15,000 IN SCHOLARSHIPS TO TOP STUDENTS
The St. Lucia Workers’ Credit Union hosted its Annual Scholarship Ceremony on Friday, August 15th, recognizing 15 students for their outstanding performance in this year’s Caribbean Primary Exit Assessment. A total of 15 scholarships were awarded—five full and ten partial—amounting to over $15,000. Students were encouraged to remain focused, make wise choices, and continue striving to become valuable and respectable citizens of society.
KERA LAWRENCE CROWNED MISS DISTRICT HIGH 2025
Kera Lawrence stole the spotlight on Saturday, August 15th, at the National Cultural Centre, earning the coveted Miss District High 2025 crown. Competing against six other talented contestants, Lawrence impressed the judges with her poise, grace, and stage presence, securing the title along with prestigious awards. The evening also featured the presentation of the Sir Lucia pageant contestants, highlighting a growing platform for young talent and empowerment.
