Prime Minister Philip Pierre delivered his Budget Address for the year 2023/2024 on Tuesday, highlighting the island’s strong economic recovery. However he says the double digit GDP growth and other economic indicators could have been even better, if the management of violent crime had not forced government to redirect its resources.
