Prime Minister Philip J. Pierre has pledged to provide every police officer with a bulletproof vest, reinforcing the government’s commitment to officer safety. He made the announcement at the closing ceremony of the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force’s Special Tactical Intervention Training Course. The intensive seven-day program, completed by 27 officers, focused on enhancing their efficiency and operational readiness for high-risk situations.
