Saint Lucia is laying the foundation for a modern, coordinated data ecosystem with the development of its first-ever National Strategy for the Development of Statistics (NSDS). Aligned with the country’s Medium Term Development Strategy (MTDS), the NSDS will serve as a comprehensive blueprint to strengthen the production, management, and use of official statistics. It aims to equip government ministries and agencies with the tools, resources, and institutional support needed to drive evidence-based policymaking and national development.
