Small Island Developing States will soon benefit from a new financing institution specifically designed to address their climate vulnerabilities. It’s called the Development Bank for Resilient Prosperity and is being led by Saint Lucia’s Dr. Hyginus “Gene” Leon.
Dr. Leon, the former President of the Caribbean Development Bank, is currently attending the UN Ocean Conference in Nice, France, where he is lobbying for improved climate financing for small island states.
