Saint Lucians to Be Assigned Unique ID Number from Birth

Saint Lucia is set to revolutionize its identification system. From birth, every citizen will be assigned a unique identification number.
Public Service Minister Dr. Virginia Albert-Poyotte announced that the implementation of a National Authentication Framework will enhance identity verification, significantly reducing the risks of identification fraud and duplication.
