Tragedy struck the community of Black Mallet, Marchand on Thursday night, as gunfire erupted at a street party, leaving two dead and several others wounded. The victims include 15-year-old Kevin Nile and 52-year-old Shawn Obrian St. Brice. Eyewitnesses say a vehicle drove up and opened fire on the unsuspecting crowd, sparking fear, grief, and renewed calls for urgent action against escalating gun violence in the area.
