In a proactive move to tackle the often-overlooked health crisis among men, the Vieux Fort Wellness Centre recently hosted a dedicated men’s health fair, offering a comprehensive suite of free screenings. The event, held in observance of International Men’s Day, aimed to break down barriers to healthcare by providing everything from blood pressure and diabetes tests to mental health counselling and STI screening, all with the goal of encouraging early detection and promoting lifelong wellness for high-risk men in the south.
