A suspected drowning in Gros-Islet is reigniting calls for enhanced safety measures and improved lighting on the island’s beaches. Seventy-three-year-old Bernadine Edwin, a resident of Edge Water, Gros-Islet, is believed to have drowned while taking one of his regular late-night swims.
