The issue of the island`s political leaders leading the way in promoting unity among the citizenry has resurfaced amidst allegations by a former St Lucia Prime Minister and a response from the current holder of the office.
As Miriam Montoute reports ,it was during a service at the St Joseph the Worker Church on Sunday that the local head of the Roman Catholic community urged politicians and their supporters from the governing St Lucia Labour Party and the opposition United Workers Party , who were in attendance , to put their differences aside by participating in the ritual sign of peace.
