The Sovereign Wealth Fund Bill was tabled and passed in island`s Senate on Tuesday.
However prior to this , Independent Senator Deale Lee highlighted areas of the bill which needed strengthening to ensure transparency and accountability of the investment vehicle.
Its aim is to support investments in climate adaptation, climate mitigation and sustainable economic development.
