With Saint Lucia’s blood bank at dangerously low levels, the Saint Lucia Medical and Dental Association (SLMDA) is turning to the island’s youngest voices for help. In a creative twist to its blood drive campaign, the SLMDA has launched an essay competition for primary school students, hoping that lessons penned today will inspire a new generation of lifesaving donors tomorrow.
