Students in District 2 lit up the stage this week as celebrations kicked off ahead of Saint Cecilia’s Day on November 22nd—and music teachers say the talent emerging from local schools is strong enough to take Saint Lucia to international stages. Lestan Celestin, music teacher at Castries Comprehensive Secondary School and Director of the Music Hub, believes that with the right exposure, these young performers can significantly shape the island’s evolving creative sector.
