The CARICOM Election Observation Mission has released its preliminary report on Saint Lucia’s 2025 General Election, giving the poll a strong rating of 8.5/10 while stressing the need for major reforms. Some of the mission’s recommendations include the establishment of an independent regulatory framework for campaign financing, re-examining the constituency boundaries and improvements to the management and logistics of the advance poll system.
