On a day meant to celebrate resurrection and hope, gun violence once again cast a dark shadow. A 26-year-old man was fatally shot in Fond Assau, Babonneau, on Easter Sunday—reportedly due to an issue involving his younger brother. Another man was also injured in the incident. As the community mourns, renewed pleas are being made for young men to put down the guns.
