Equity Ministry Removes Ineligible Public Assistance Recipients, 1,500 Waitlisted

The Equity Ministry has flagged over 600 ineligible recipients for removal from the Public Assistance Program, while 1,500 eligible applicants remain on a waiting list for welfare benefits due to limited space. Equity Minister Joachim Henry says the initiative is part of the Strategy for Graduation, aimed at reducing dependency on social support and prioritizing the most vulnerable citizens.
