Saint Lucia’s healthcare system received a critical boost this week, as the Ministry of Health—through support from the Health System Strengthening Project and Japan’s JICA—donated a range of life-saving biomedical equipment to the Millennium Heights Medical Complex. The new equipment, including ICU monitors, defibrillators, ECG machines, and more, is expected to significantly enhance patient care and emergency response capacity at the island’s main hospital.
